We are part of Wolfe's Neck Farm Foundation's 600 acre demonstration farm. Our sites are truly unique with ocean views, hayfields, pastures (with beef cows) and beautiful wooded surroundings. The sites are designated as shorefront, waterview or wooded. Also, we have several rustic shore front cabins. The shower house with hot water, laundry facility and flush toilets and 7 E/W sites are all located near our camp office/store. Campers enjoy the opportunities to hike, bike, bird watch, swim, fish, canoe, kayak and even shop uptown in Freeport's 100+ outlet stores. Recompence is a family campground and people must respect each others need for tranquility. Our quiet hours will be enforced from 10pm to 7am. Pets must be on leashes at all times and owners must clean up after their animals. Aggressive dogs and dogs that bark are not welcome. Reservations may be made on or after January 1.
