Desert Island, with only 37 sites. Located in the southwest corner of the island, we are on the “quiet side”. Mostly geared towards tenters, there are 10 RV sites with 30 Amp service and water hook ups for small trailers. We also have 9 rental cabins, each with a separate private area. All tent sites are well screened and have tent platforms. We are truly unique in that although we have many amenities, your camping experience will be away from the crowds and with the level of privacy you desire. We take pride in having the campground be designated as a “backyard habitat.” There are many species of birds, plants, and trees, as well as occasional wildlife. Enjoy nature at its best without the noisy crowds. For recreation, we have plenty of maps and ideas for hiking, biking, and kayaking. On site, there is a recreation barn with pool, foosball, basketball and horseshoe pits outside. For your convenience, the island shuttle bus has a stop at the campground entrance.
