| Powder Horn Family Camping Resort is situated amidst 80 acres of Pine, Maple and Oak groves. We, the Ahearn Family, pride ourselves in offering the best quality family camping experience the southern Maine region has to offer. Our facilities are clean, modern and consistently improved upon to keep us a cut above the industry standard. We are exclusively a family campground and can accommodate the most of any camping units, from tents to 45' class-A motorhomes. We offer Free WiFi throughout the property and most of our sites are equipped with cable TV. For families with young children, we offer an extensive activity program that runs six days a week. There are also many other family friendly activities offered throughout the summer. We are less than one mile from Downtown Old Orchard Beach. There is a 7 mile stretch of sandy beach that defines Old Orchard as Maine's premier beach resort town. Palace Playland, our seaside amusement park is one of kind and the Pier at Old Orchard is packed with great food, drink and souvenirs.
