Frost Pond Camps is a Maine Sporting Camp surrounded by numerous waterways and rugged forests. We are located on Frost Pond, which is just West of Baxter Start Park, in across Ripogenus Dam. We have 8 wooded campsites and 7 housekeeping cabins on the shore of Frost Pond. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of the North Maine Woods! Our primitive campsites will accommodate small RVs and small travel trailers as well as tents. There are not any hook-ups here at Frost Pond of any type. Our guests come to enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, canoeing, kayaking and just plain relaxing! Drinking water and coin operated hot showers are available near the office. We are about 1 hour from Millinocket and 1 and 1/2 hours from Greenville. Ripogenus Lake and Chesuncook Lake are located just a short distance away for those who wish to paddle on large bodies of water. The West Branch of the Penobscot River is nearby for some of the best Salmon fishing in the Eastern U.S. Today is a good day to make your reservation!
Online Reservations accepted.
