We offer campers free use of our rowboat and canoes. Many people bring their kayaks to enjoy our lake, the other lakes nearby, and the saltwater bays. Boating enthusiasts can use the recently rebuilt State launch 1/4 mile from us. You may often see and hear the loons on our lake as you enjoy our peaceful, quiet setting. Acadia National Park, the Blue Hill Peninsula, the Bangor area, and Camden/Rockland areas are all easily reached from our central location. The authors of "New England Camping" rated us as #1 lakeside campground in New England and YANKEE Magazine (5/05) featured our campground as one of only two in Maine in "The Best Family Camping". What makes us different from many campgrounds is that we are sharing our 10-acre yard, 860 feet of shore frontage and our campfires with our customers.
