Located on Toddy Pond, a 10 mile lake with great swimming, fishing and boating. Go fishing for pickerel, large mouth bass, trout, sun fish, salmon and more. Open mid May to late October with 120 shaded sites, a fire pit and a picnic table on each site. Located on the quietside of Mount Desert Island, we are family owned and operated with friendly staff to assist in all your needs. We are within walking distance of the Bass Harbor Lighthouse and Acadia National Park. The Island Explorer free shuttle bus service is available at the campground and will travel to Bar Harbor. Other buses are available to travel throughout Acadia and the island including to the Carriage Roads for good biking and hiking. Pets are welcome, our pool is heated and fresh lobsters are available. We also have a playground for the youngsters. Accommodations include cabins tucked into the trees, tent sites and full hook up (30/50amp,cable,sewer) RV sites.
